My hamster, Christmas, was found dead in (his/her) hometown cage yesterday at around 3pm. It had been suspected to die from eye and ear swollen infection due to the fight accident with my another white hamster, boyboy. The accident happened 3 weeks ago. dettol cream treatment was done to its upper eye and ear in minimum so as to reduce the infection. There is no way an accumulation of dettol would poison Christmas.I Interrogated my grandma, another caretaker and she reported that Christmas was still fine in the morning when she fed her/him cheese. Anyway, cheese had always been christmas's favourite breakfast. Water bottle and food plate were all filled at the death scene so Christmas didnt die from starvation or thirst. Caged washed n Sawdust had been changed by Joseph. The last time i bathed Christmas was not even a week. In another words, hygience had been strictly observed during his recuperation period. From the way it slept, it had died peacefully with its eyes closed. no heart attack and no fall injuries. My Christmas had been with me close to 2 years. my present from kikuzawa preslie. I guess i should really let Christmas go. i love you Christmas.

Christmas was buried next to girlgirl (my white hamster) under the crying tree near the mrt track.
no ritual was done. we gave flowers anyway.
